Power oil step-down three-phase two-winding hermetic general-purpose transformers with capacity from 10 to 2500 kV·A and voltage up to 35 kV are designed for the needs of the national economy for internal and external installation.
Specifications
Power transformers TMG-10 - 2500 are produced with a nominal voltage of the primary winding (high voltage) up to 35 kV, including the secondary winding (low voltage) - 0.4 kV. Scheme and group of connections - U/UN -0; D/UN -11.
Transformers are produced with different levels of no-load and short-circuit losses:
- level A according to TU U 31.1-00213440-024-2006 with reduced losses;
- level B according to TU U3.49-05758084-016-2000 with standard losses.
The voltage is regulated without excitation. For this purpose, the transformers are equipped with high-voltage switches, which are connected to the high-voltage winding and allow to adjust the voltage in stages when the transformer is disconnected from the network on the LV and HV sides with a range of ±2 x 2.5%.
The maximum deviation of the technical parameters of the transformers are:
- Short circuit voltage ±10%;
- Short-circuit losses on the main branch +10%;
- Idle losses +15%;
- Full weight +10%.

Height above sea level - up to 1,000 m.
Ambient air temperature:
- for a temperate climate - from -45 ОС to +4 ОС (execution "U");
- for a cold climate - from -60 ОС to +4 ОС ("HL" version). The relative humidity of the air is no more than 8% at +25 °C. Transformers are not designed to work:
- in an explosive and aggressive environment (which contains gases, vapors, dust of high concentration, etc.);
- with vibration and shaking.
Construction of transformers
Tanks of transformers TMG-10-2500 of rectangular shape are made with corrugated walls without an oil expander. Hooks located under the upper frame of the tank are used to lift the tank and transformer. On the lid of the tank there is a tap (plug) for adding oil, at the bottom of the tank there is a plug for draining oil, a tap (plug) for taking a sample, and a grounding bolt.
The active part consists of windings, a high-voltage switch and a magnetic circuit, which is made of high-quality electrical steel. Steel is cut on the "GEORG" line, the charging of the magnetic conductor is carried out according to the "Step-Lap" scheme. Transformer windings are aluminum or copper.
Inputs HV and LV of the external installation, removable, through insulators are made of porcelain. At a current of 1OOO A and above, a special contact clamp with a blade is attached to the upper part of the current-carrying rod, which ensures the connection of a flat busbar. At the request of the customer, LV inputs for a current of less than 1000 A and HV inputs can be supplemented with contact clamps of the appropriate cross-section. HV and LV inputs are located on the cover.
To control the oil level, a float oil indicator is installed on the tank cover. A thermometer is installed on the transformer cover to measure the temperature of the upper layers of oil.
The volume expansion of the oil, which depends on the temperature of the transformer, is compensated by a change in the pressure inside the tank due to a change in the configuration and volume of the corrugated walls.
In hermetic transformers of the TMG type, oil does not come into contact with air and does not oxidize. They do not require additional costs during commissioning.
Rollers are installed in transformers with a capacity from 160 to 2500 kVa, which serve for longitudinal and transverse movement of transformers.
