Current transformer TSHL-V 0.72 kV

Current transformer TShL-V-0.72 (TNSHL-0.66) is a low-voltage, busbar, single-winding (with one secondary winding) transformer in an epoxy compound case. It consists of a secondary winding wound on a magnetic core made of electrical steel. The primary winding is the cable on which the transformer is put on. Designed for embedding in complete switchgears (KRU) and is used to transmit a signal of measuring information to measuring instruments or protection and control devices in alternating current installations with a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz with a rated voltage up to 0.72 kV inclusive. And also in installations with a rated voltage of 3, 6, 10, 35, 110 kV, then the insulation of the high-voltage cable serves as high-voltage insulation.

A distinctive feature of TShL-V (TNSHL-0.66) is that the transformer winding is filled with a waterproof, chemically and heat-resistant epoxy compound.

Transformers for differential protection are available on special order.

Transformers are supplied with cast resin only.

Manufactured in "U" and "T" versions of placement category 2 according to GOST 15150 for operation in the following conditions:

  - height above sea level is not more than 1000 m;

  - ambient temperature: during operation - from minus 45°C to plus 50°C for version "U2" and from minus 10°C to plus 50°C for version "T2";

  - the environment is not explosive, does not contain dust, reactive gases and vapors in concentrations that destroy the coating of metals and insulation;

  - working position of products: for currents 600-5000 A - any, for currents 8000-10000 A - vertical.

TShL-V cast resin transformers are equipped with protective transparent covers for separate sealing of secondary outputs. It is allowed to use secondary windings for accounting, accuracy classes 0.2S and 0.5S with a secondary load value below 25% of the nominal. The minimum allowable load for windings of accuracy class 0.2S and 0.5S is 25VA. In the passport for current transformers with secondary windings, to take into account accuracy classes 0.2S and 0.5S, the measured current and angular errors are indicated at a rated secondary load of 20VA.
