Features of laser metal cutting
Laser cutting is one of the advanced technological methods of processing metal raw materials. It is performed using a light flux of small diameter and high intensity. Hitting a metal surface, the beam heats up to high temperatures, causing melting. Under computer control, it moves exactly according to the given trajectory. Modern machines are designed to work with any type of materials: aluminum, copper, brass, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel.

This technology has a number of undeniable advantages over other types of raw material processing:

  - High accuracy of cutting - unlike mechanical cutting, parts come out with even edges, without any errors. The sheet does not deform, since there is no mechanical pressure on the metal, all technical characteristics are preserved.

  - The minimum amount of waste - computer programs for processing drawings allow rational use of metal. The edges of the workpieces after cutting are smooth and even. You can avoid scale when cutting.

  - Parts that are cut on a laser do not require additional mechanical processing. After the completion of the process, the part can be immediately transferred to the next stage of production. The technology provides a perfect cut without burrs and irregularities, neat, precisely polished. The taper is less than 1 degree - it depends on the thickness of the sheet and the cut holes. When using a laser, the conicity is minimal, the holes are geometrically correct and suitable for precise connections.

  - When laser cutting aluminum and other raw materials, you can cut holes at least 2 times thinner than the sheet itself. This method is effective for thin sheet metals with complex contours and small holes.

  - A small zone of thermal influence in the cutting zone - there is no mechanical contact with the processed surface. There is a possibility of laser cutting of easily deformable and non-rigid parts. It is also possible to process hard tool alloys that are poorly exposed to mechanical influences.

Drawings provided by you must be in dwg or dxf format. Autocad, contours of parts must be made on a scale of 1 to 1 with polylines, circles, arcs. Splines and other elements on the drawing (for example, after converting the drawing from Corel) need editing, which will be taken into account when calculating the cost. There should be at least one control dimension on the drawing. In the name of the file, it is desirable to indicate the material, thickness, number of parts.
