The voltage transformer type VTB 30-F1 is a primary internal contact for a fuse made by contact with a holder on the voltage transformer. In this regard, this transformer has a "telescopic" shape.
The transformer itself has a single-phase cast structure in the form of an inductive-type converter, with one isolated terminal of the primary winding, which is supplied with voltage to be converted, and secondary windings, which, depending on the configuration, are used either as measuring or protective. The primary winding, core and secondary winding of the voltage transformers are vacuum-sealed with cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, which provides protection against corrosion, moisture penetration, and has a high insulating capacity. The secondary windings are multi-turn, made of copper wire, located on laminated magnetic cores made of cold-rolled electrical steel. Transformers do not require additional service and maintenance during operation.
Voltage transformers are transformers that convert high voltages proportionally and exactly according to the phases into quantities suitable for measurement. Medium voltage transformers have a single magnetic circuit and can be made with one or more secondary windings. Measuring voltage transformers can be made both as grounded transformers for phase-to-ground voltage measurement, and as non-grounded transformers for phase-to-phase voltage measurement.
Support voltage transformers type VTB 30-F1 are designed for indoor installation in networks with voltage up to 36 kV (40.5 kV). Current transformers of the VTB 30-F1 series are used for galvanic isolation of high (30 kV and above) from low (usually 100 V) voltage circuits of the secondary windings. Voltage transformers allow you to isolate low-voltage protection logic circuits and measuring circuits from high voltage, which allows you to use equipment for low-voltage networks, which is cheaper.
